Post Your Estate or Moving Sale — Free
Emailing us your sale details takes less than three minutes. There is no listing fee, no upsell, and no requirement to create an account. We review each submission and follow up by email.
How this works
We no longer operate a listings directory (see what happened), so we can't promise your sale will be browsed by a large local audience the way a live directory listing might once have been. What we do offer: a free, no-signup way to send your sale details to a real person, plus the buyer's and seller's guides linked throughout this site.
What we ask for
- Your name and contact email. We use this to confirm the listing and to alert you if a buyer flags an issue.
- City and ZIP code. We do not publish full street addresses until 24 hours before the sale, for the privacy of the home.
- Date and approximate hours. Please confirm before submitting; rescheduled sales are the most common buyer complaint.
- A short description. Two or three sentences about the categories of items, the home's history, and any special features (estate jewelry, signed art, working tools, etc.).

Tips for a successful sale
- Photograph hero items. Even a single iPhone photo of your nicest piece — a mid-century chair, a sterling tea service, a working tool collection — makes your listing far more memorable.
- Be specific in your description. "Furniture, tools, household goods" gets glanced at; "Mid-century walnut credenza, vintage Stanley plane collection, complete Wedgwood china service for twelve" gets bookmarked.
- Open early. Most successful estate sales open at 8:00 AM Friday or Saturday. Earlier than that frustrates neighbors; later than that misses dealers.
- Mark your address visibly on sale day. Bright neon signs at the nearest two intersections cut your "I can't find it" calls in half.
- Plan your discount cadence. Many sellers price firm Friday, allow modest negotiation Saturday afternoon, and discount everything 50% Sunday after lunch.
